Entries for the Boudavida Women’s 10k Windsor, which will take place on Saturday 23rd September 2017 in Windsor Great Park, are officially open.
Open to women of all ages and abilities, this inclusive race takes part along a picturesque route, perfect for a fun run or chasing a new PB. The scenic course starts along the Long Walk in Windsor Great Park and travels past the Copper Horse, the Royal Lodge and the Jubilee Statue before finishing, again, on the spectacular Long Walk.
Peter Hier, Race Director of the Windsor Running Festival, comments: “We had a great event last year and I’m looking forward to bringing the race back to Windsor Great Park. I’m thrilled that the Boudavida team will be joining us as headline sponsor for the second year running. All our 2017 entrants will receive access to: exclusive online content including training plans, discounts, expert advice, and a private Facebook group where the entrants can get to know each other before the race. After the race, all entrants will receive a free t-shirt and medal to reward their participation in the race.”
Commenting on Boudavida’s continued partnership with the race, Founder and CEO Anabel Sexton added: “We had a fantastic time at last year’s race, we met so many inspirational women and we’re delighted to be returning for a second year as the headline sponsor. As an exclusive discount for all those signing up to the race, we’re offering runners 10% off their purchases from our online store, so that they can run the race in style. Our vision is very much aligned to that of the 10K, that regardless of size, age or ability, all women can be equally brave and bold in their own way. We’ll be at the event with a pop up shop so be sure to come and meet the team.”
The Boudavida Women’s 10k is part of the Windsor Running Festival, which includes the Meridian Windsor Half Marathon on Sunday 24 – ideal for those looking to push themselves a little further in a traffic-free, scenic half marathon environment.
